Who Gets to Call It Art?

Chosen by Time Magazine for its list of Top Ten DVDs of 2006, “Who Gets to Call It Art?” is a wild ride through the fascinating world of the 1960’s New York art scene, as seen through the eyes of Metropolitan Museum of Art curator Henry Geldzahler. Directed by Peter Rosen, the production took the crew into the studios of such iconoclastic pop-art figures as Frank Stella, David Hockney, James Rosenquist, Larry Poons and Francesco Clemente.
